1. Who operates Petal
Petal is a subscription-based habit-tracking application operated by Bossa Ventures LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Bossa Ventures," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the Petal app, or by using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Petal.
2. About Petal
Petal is a habit-tracking app built around 21, 30, or 75-day challenges, designed for women. Petal offers:
- A personalized challenge plan based on your profile
- Daily task tracking
- An optional partner-matching system between users
- A community of women on the same challenge
- Recipe, workout, and inspiration content
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Petal. By creating an account, you represent that you have the legal age and capacity to agree to these Terms.
4. Your account
You are responsible for
- Providing truthful information when you register
- Keeping your password secure
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You may not
- Share your account with third parties
- Create multiple accounts
- Use a false identity
- Sell or transfer your account
5. Subscriptions and billing
Petal offers the following auto-renewing subscription plans:
- Weekly plan — $4.99 USD / week
- Monthly plan — $9.99 USD / month
- Annual plan — $49.99 USD / year
Prices are shown in USD and may vary by region or promotion in effect at the time of purchase; the exact price is always confirmed on the purchase screen before you are charged. We currently sell subscriptions exclusively through the Apple App Store and Google Play (in-app purchase) — Petal does not operate its own checkout on this website.
How subscriptions work
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel before it renews
- Billing is handled entirely by Apple (via your Apple ID) or Google (via your Google Play account) — Bossa Ventures LLC does not process or store your payment card details
- You can cancel at any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account subscription settings — see our Cancellation Policy
- Refunds for purchases made through Apple or Google are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies — see our Refund Policy

6. Content you create
When you post content on Petal (photos, a bio, messages to your partner), you:
- Retain all rights to your content
- Grant Petal a license to display that content to other users you authorize
- Confirm that you have the rights to what you post
- Agree not to post content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes the rights of others
7. Expected conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Harass other users
- Post discriminatory, violent, or explicit content
- Use the app for unauthorized commercial purposes
- Attempt to circumvent technical limitations of the app
- Reverse-engineer the app
- Collect other users' data without consent
Violating these Terms may result in suspension or termination of your account.
8. Petal's content
All content provided by Petal (recipes, motivational text, moodboards, challenge programming) is owned by us or licensed to us. You may use it for personal use, but you may not:
- Copy or republish it elsewhere
- Use it for commercial purposes
- Modify and redistribute it
9. Health disclaimer
Petal is NOT a medical service. The tasks, recommendations, and content provided are general wellness information, not medical advice.
Before starting any challenge involving a significant change in diet, physical exercise, or water intake, consult a qualified healthcare professional.
Petal does not replace professional medical, nutritional, or fitness guidance, and does not promise any specific physical, weight-loss, or health outcome. We are not responsible for consequences arising from improper use of the information provided.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Petal is not liable for:
- Temporary technical failures of the app
- Data loss resulting from technical issues
- The conduct of other users
- Personal decisions made based on the app's content
- Lost profits or indirect damages
Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
12. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
